Nicholas Watson

Solicitor

Nicholas joined our office in early 2020 as a paralegal whilst studying a Bachelor or Laws and a Bachelor of Global Studies, with a particular interest and focus on international relations. In 2022, Nick was fortunate enough to study overseas at Leiden University in the Netherlands, one of Europe’s oldest Universities, where he spent time visiting the International Criminal Court in the Hague. Whilst overseas, he completed a minor in International Security Studies and Securitization Laws. At the start of 2023, Nick also volunteered with Job Watch Community Legal Centre, providing employment law services to vulnerable community demographics who had been exploited at work. He will complete his undergraduate degree in early 2024 being awarded Honours at Law.

Prior to his admission, Nick’s role was primarily to assist our team of lawyers in analysing and summarizing Briefs of Evidence, preparing Briefs to Counsel, legal research, filing and administrative duties, as well as Court appearances with leave. He became essential in assisting our team to analyse and assess Briefs of Evidence so that our lawyers and clients get the benefit of this organization and research. Now that he is admitted, Nick continues his stellar work as a solicitor advocate for our firm, relying on his already impressive experience in the criminal law.
